In short. Meow Messenger is for your own people. Write to those you know; do not turn it into a place someone wants to leave. The service keeps evolving: individual features change over time.
You need a Google or Apple account and you must be at least 13 years old. One person, one account; do not sign in as somebody else. Only people over 18 may ask for reactions to their messages or record them: the app asks for a year of birth, and you must not give a false one.
Everything you send belongs to you. We claim no rights to it and we do not use the contents of your conversations to show you anything or to sell anything.
When you take a photo, record a video or a circle, record a voice note, or record a reaction to someone else’s message, you are responsible for the people who end up in the frame or in the sound. Make sure they do not mind; do not record or send what others should not see or hear — especially children and people who do not know. A reaction records you and everything around you, including the people near you: keep that in mind while it is recording.
A reaction request is not a way to make someone show themselves. Do not use it to pressure, frighten or push for a recording: a person can always decline, ask to view without a reaction, or block you, and insisting is a breach of these terms.
Anyone who knows your exact username, email address or phone number (if you added one) can start a one-to-one chat with you: a random person will not find you, but someone who knows those details will. You can delete an unwanted chat on your side in one motion — swipe the row in the list — and block the person: in a one-to-one chat they can no longer write to you.
If someone breaks these rules, write to us at ceo@synergygrowing.online with a description and, if you can, a screenshot. We read these messages by hand and can restrict or close the offender’s account. We reply within a few days.
Meow Messenger has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE): for material that depicts a child sexually, for grooming a child into sexual contact, and for any attempt to use the service for it. It is banned entirely and without exception. The service is for people aged 13 and over; reactions are for 18 and over.
We review reports of such material and conduct by hand and as a priority, close the accounts of offenders, and report confirmed cases to the competent authorities as the law requires.
You can report it in two ways: the “Report” item in the menu of a message or reaction, or an email to our child-safety contact at ceo@synergygrowing.online with the subject “Child safety”.
The service keeps evolving: there may be maintenance interruptions, and individual features may change. We work hard to make sure messages are never lost — that is the core promise of the product — but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
You can ask us to delete your account by writing to the address above. We may close an account that breaks these terms.
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the service.
